There is no more snow forecast in next 24hrs in Cardiff area but the A48 road to Newport was very difficult tonight.

However Professor Porter has arrived in Cardiff so we hope to make a start at 9am tomorrow though I think some speakers may not make it.

It is snowing this morning in Cardiff, but Professor Mahadevan is in Cardiff and we intend to start at 13.45 as per plan.

Please note that Professor Luo who was to fly from Glasgow has had to cancel.

WIMCS is delighted that this year's keynote speaker will be Professor Lakshminarayanan Mahadevan, Harvard

His talk is titled 'On growth and form: geometry, physics and biology'
