The dates for the 2013 Wales Mathematics Colloquium are 20th - 22nd May.
The themes are
(i) Spectral theory (ii) Uncertainty in mathematical modelling.
The guest speakers will be:
Professor Brian Davies, Kings College London and former Chair of WIMCS.
The titles of his talks are (1) Before the Scientific Revolution (2) Spectral Theory of non-self-adjoint operators
Professor Sofia Olhede, University College London.
Her talks will be on Structure in Time and Space - modelling time and dependence from ecology, oceanography to neuroscience
