Professor Simon HandsProfessor of Physics Specialist Subjects: Lattice Field Theory, QCD at non-zero temperature and baryon density, 2+1-dimensional fermionsI have always worked in lattice field theory, with research interests ranging over dynamical symmetry breaking, lattice fermion formulations, topological excitations, disordered systems, and novel techniques in spectroscopy. Much of my recent attention has focussed on the study of QCD under extreme conditions of temperature and/or baryon charge density. I also have an interest in applications to planar condensed matter systems such as grapheme. |
