I am currently using twistor inspired techniques to calculate loop contributions to scattering processes in QCD and supergravity. One-loop processes provide important contributions to events at the LHC and must be understood if new particles are to be discovered. The loop properties of supergravity theories display many unexpected cancellations, raising the possibility of the existence of a finite quantum field theory incorporating gravity.
